I’m Taren Land, your new principal, and I am honored to join the Cougar Family. With 19 years in education and 8 years in leadership, I have dedicated my career to creating learning environments where students excel academically, grow in character, and discover their unique potential. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I could feel the strength of this community—our families, staff, and partners are deeply committed to ensuring every student’s success.

This year’s theme, “We All Fit – Building a Stronger School, One Piece at a Time,” captures who we are. Each student, staff member, and family brings unique strengths, talents, and perspectives. When we come together, we create something extraordinary—an environment where every child is valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We are committed to delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, and building a culture where we do things with excellence in all that we do. Together, we will continue raising expectations, celebrating achievements, and ensuring that our students are prepared to succeed as global competitors.
